What if you could learn from someone else’s mistakes before you made your own?
Even though I’m a full-time writer now, I started out as a clueless freelancer. When I first began freelance writing, I had no idea what I was doing (aside from throwing my resume at anyone and everyone). I spent my first year struggling to make it work and wondering if I was even doing the right thing. Being a freelance writer was more stressful than I thought it would be, but that’s because I hadn’t yet learned how to approach it properly.
That’s I wrote this book.
As I struggled through that first year, I recorded everything I learned. It started as a way to keep my own thoughts and habits straight. But it didn’t make sense to let everything I’d learned just sit in a document on my computer. Why couldn’t others learn from my mistakes, too?
It includes topics like:
- Choosing a niche
- Finding clients
- Setting a work schedule
- Using social media to increase your exposure
- Choosing the right projects for you
- Dealing with criticism
- What did and didn’t work for me
- TONS of helpful books and resources for starting your writing career
Don’t make the same mistakes I made.
If you want to start a freelance writing career of your own, take a look through this to start on the right track and avoid making the same stressful, time-consuming mistakes I made. It’s a quick, easy read — just the right length to get you through your next cup of coffee.
